The Builders
Century Timber Sheds is a collaboration between Joel (right) and Nate Dewing(left). We are brothers that grew up together on our family farm in Warren Center, PA. The farm is classified as a century farm as it has been in our family for over 150 years. Joel built his first timber frame in 2000 (his tiny house), and Nate started his first frame in 2004 (his house). Both buildings are on the family land. We do not limit our work to just sheds. We also make frames for porches, cabins, additions, and houses.
This is the frame for my (Joel's) house. It's small but I love living in it. I plan on building an addition soon because I was married to my wonderful wife Mimi a year ago, and we could use some more room before we begin our family.

This is the frame for Nate's house. We raised it by hand last autumn with the help of many friends and family. The house is now closed in and Nate is working to finish it with his wife Delphine.
